Welcome to Hotel Bent
We are a small and quirky boutique hotel with eight rooms and two suites, brand new and opening since November 2024. Our grand opening will be in April 2025, when our pavilion will also open with a restaurant and four additional suites. But first, let’s start with the boutique hotel. With us you stay in comfort with a touch of glamour, a pinch of art and design, all in maximum sustainability.
We are among the most sustainably built and managed hotels in the Netherlands. When you’re with us, we’ll be happy to tell you all about it. The best thing about our hotel is that when you cross the road, you are in the middle of the beautiful Natura 2000 area. Forests with breathtaking fens, hiking trails and nice places to eat or drink. You can also grab a bike and be in our cozy village in 5 minutes. And what a village! Nice stores, many restaurants, a small railway station, a theater and beautiful picturesque places.
Enjoy the view where you can look over the fairy of Esschenven between the treetops with your drink, or enjoy your breakfast on a beautiful morning.
While the hotel is already ready for lodging, construction is progressing at lightning speed on our second building, the Pavilion. In just three weeks, the entire wood structure was erected, and this week the ceiling was also installed. The Pavilion that will open its doors in April 2025 will not only be our restaurant but also four additional suites. Here we want to create a place for lectures, theater evenings and cozy get-togethers around nature and culture.
Rooms & Suites
Each room in our hotel is carefully decorated with a wood finish, a tribute to our prefab construction and a nod to the surrounding nature. The colors of the rooms are inspired by the rich hues of the forest, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
